New Year, New Intention

This year, on New Year’s Eve, we all went around the circle and shared a highlight from 2016. Meeting boyfriends and girlfriends, summer trips to the lake, and good friends were among the highlights shared. Then it was my turn and with sincerity that surprised even myself, I shared that my highlight of 2016 was anytime that I had the privilege of working with a healing client. It struck me that my ‘work’ is actually my ‘joy’. What a gift!

So, in an effort to really commit to this ‘work’ and be as effective as I can, I realized that it was important for me to share with you what my intention is, and who I’m here to help. In order to do that, I want to share a bit of my story with you.

Quite often we’re here to teach what we most need to learn, which makes sense in that I have had my fair share of challenging relationships, romantic and otherwise. My relationship ‘training’ started at about the age of 13 and has continued since then. Bullying and exclusion, getting ‘dumped’, feeling insecure and unworthy, fear of ending relationships that I no longer wanted to be in, being single when everyone else is getting married and making questionable choices about the men I spend my time with are some of the ‘courses’ I’ve taken. I feel as though I have been studying relationships my entire life, without really knowing it and now, after all this life training, I feel like I know A LOT.

That's not to say it's all been crap! I've also been blessed with LOTS of amazing relationships too and these relationships have made everything better.

Over the years that I’ve been working with healing clients, the ones I feel the most resonance with and who I want to help the most are the women who feel like I have: insecure, powerless, confused, heartbroken, weak, (fill in the blank), but who also had a strong sense that this was all total BS, that this isn’t the way it should be, that we’re not meant to suffer!

I’ve been there and I’ve come out the other side. The healing tools I work with have made an enormous difference in my own well being and in the lives of my clients and it is truly my joy to continue to help women come back to their wholeness, confidence, power, strength, divinity and unconditional love for self and others because it’s really who we are in truth.

When we heal our relationship with ourselves and come back to the truth of who we are, our relationships change. It's a beautiful thing.

I would be so grateful if you would help me share this post and spread the word in an effort to help those women in your life who could use some support. Sending much love and light to each and every one of you.
